Archive Policy
Community Service: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, published by PT Global Research Media Group, is strongly committed to the long-term digital preservation of its scholarly content. To support this commitment, the journal adopts the LOCKSS system, which stands for “Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe.”
The LOCKSS system enables distributed archiving among participating libraries and allows those libraries to create permanent archives of journal content for preservation and restoration purposes. This system helps ensure the long-term accessibility, availability, and security of the journal’s published content.
In line with the LOCKSS philosophy, Community Service: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat stores its current issues and published articles across multiple servers to ensure the availability of multiple copies for optimal data security. The journal archives are stored on the server of PT Global Research Media Group, the Local Content Collection, and are digitally submitted to Indonesia OneSearch of the National Library of Indonesia.
In addition, the journal content is periodically harvested by OCLC WorldCat. Published issues are also submitted to LIPI (Indonesian Institute of Sciences) for repository preservation. Furthermore, Community Service: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat implements the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to strengthen its digital preservation infrastructure and support the sustainable accessibility of its scholarly publications.
